The Danish workhorse returns to our inventory. Originally built for the Swedish railways, these locomotives made Denmark their home after electrification of the Swedish rail network.
Build yourself one of these northern beauties and see for yourself how huge these locomotives really are, even in model form.

You can print the model for a range of common model train scales.
We've addes a scale table for you too lookup at what scale to print the locomotive.
Included are: Gauge 1, O Gauge / 7mm, HO/OO scale

The original model is created in scale: 1:32 Gauge 1 and is designed to run on Gauge 1 model train rails.

    Materials and Equipments needed

    Hey, I don't have a 3d printer. But just to clear is the building and 3d printing beginner friendly. And can you tell me the list of materials/electronics/and a budget printer will I need to make this amazing model. And also can you estimate the costs. If I will build it it will be in HO scale. So please help me out.

    Hi! The building of the models is relatively beginner friendly. You receive a construction manual with every model. You also don't need a fancy printer for printing the models. (Of course the better the printer, the faster the parts finish with les post processing) one spool of filament is enough to print a locomotive in gauge 1. I think you can make 3 in ho scale with a spool. The manual also contains a list of the electronics that you need. The price of the electronics is hard to say, it depends on where you get them.     Hello! We have changed the fee since some time. The models are no longer free, so we can invest the income on making more models. I hope this was helpfull.

    Can it be made of metal?

    It is definitely possible to print it in metal. I have printed the wheels in metal for some locomotives and no changes to the files were needed. I would love to see a fully metal printed one! Good luck

    An incredible model to build.

    Very happy with my purchase. The STL files are of great quality. The manual is detailed. I highly recommend this purchase. I will take advantage of the winter to make progress on this project and try the HO scale with a resin printer and a 0.2mm nozzle FDM printer

    Please make the SJ F 1200.

    Hello, I would love to see the SJ F 1200 be in the shop, since the DSB Litra E is a derivative of the SJ F 1200, a few altercations would have to be made to the file. Are you able to do that? I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.
